On Saturday the Caledonia Sevens for S2s was played before the main event at Bridgehaugh. This was won by the Stirling County Castle seven who beat the County Monument squad in the final. As a result 9 Stirling players have been selected for the Crusaders squad from which a squad to play at the Edinburgh International Sevens in June will be chosen. The following day the S2s won the Melrose sevens, beating Stewarts Melville in the final. The under16s were beaten by eventual winners Gala Red Triangle.
